About "A Lover's Soul" Ramsey VII
|
A Lovers Soul was a soooo good, I loved the fact that the series began and ended with Quest and Michaela. Being a
lingering questions that I always had about Quest and what made him the way that he was were answered. I loved the
2nd generation Ramseys and great to see them still interacting with each other. Also,I loved the introduction of the
Ramsey cousins to peak my interests for the next installment of the Ramsey family. In my opinion, the story flowed

The title for "A Lover's Soul" was absolutely perfect for Quest and Michaela. From the moment I open
the book I was unable to put it down. Altonya not only keep you on the edge of your seat as you are
turning the pages. The story is over before you know it and you be sitting there thinking if you actually
read the book because you are constantly turning the pages to see what is going to happen next. I can
say that you will need the following while reading and TALL GLASS OF SOMETHING COOLTISSUE. You
will re-visit with the rest of the Ramsey's and their wives and lover in the scene and it will remind you of
how much you love those Ramsey's Men. I love story with children in them and to see Quest and Quay
with their children just touch my heart, I would have like to have more scene with them and the kids. I
have to say to all the reader although Altonya has come full circle this is not the end just the beginning.
I can't give away any spoiler but I can say that the LOVE SCENE are SCORNING HOT, HOT, HOT...........

Quest and Michaela.
Lots of lingering questions were answered, but best of all, a new chapter in the Ramsey family
saga is starting. "The Cousins" were introduced, so we will definitely be able to continue to follow
this unusual and remarkable family. Not to mention that we will soon find out what's going on with
County and Fernando and the eagerly awaited wedding will doubt be full of fun and drama.
Altonya only gets better with each new book. She leaves you wanting more..so hats off to you
Altonya. Keep up the good work..

OMG! A Lover's Soul...To know love is to have been loved, and yes as the Word of God says that
talks about in His Word throughout this entire series. To Love from the "Soul" is to love from
deep within, where no matter what, that love prevails over all and is like no other. With Love and
while in Love trials and tribulations will come, but only to strengthen that love, provided those in
the series and was so profound, because it all began with the love shared between Quest and
Michaela, then ventured to the strong love of family and bonds that were also strengthened by
the love of friendships formed from childhoods and college relationships that could not be easily
broken. OMG, if the world could only grasp an ounce of what Altonya has written in the Ramsey
Series, it would truly be a better place with Love, and would conquer all evils like Houston and I
only discovered the Ramsey's and Altonya's talent about 3 months ago, and I can tell you, I have
read the entire series starting from book 5, and then backwards, ending with book 1 before I read
book VII, all in 2 months; more than once. I can't wait to read the next installments of "The
Ramsey Cousins," and will be anxiously awaiting all that is to come when it concerns "The
Ramsey's."

It has been said before, but Altonya does it again and again. I find it hard to believe but I have to
that you ache when they hurt and you rejoice at their laughter.
The sign of a good read to me are when it all leads back to where it began and Altonya doesn’t
disappoint here either. We, her fans are so vested in the lives of the characters that when we
meet again it is like a family reunion. The story line is so different than what I have read in other
romances, it has such depth and richness. Altonya gives you mystery, romance, and most
definitely sensuality. Quest and Michaela are a couple so vivid that they come off the page.
Their passion for one another is tangible and so relatable. I don’t smoke but after their
lovemaking scenes, I need a cigarette!! Bravo to a beautiful black couple!!
I have been on this ride with the Ramsey’s from the beginning and I have endured each tear,
each touch and each triumph of their story right up to this bittersweet ending. So do yourself a
favor, order this finale quickly, but savor it slowly.

This book along with all the others in this series is great. I am so impressed with the
elaborate back story and how it touched each couple and ultimately, how well everything was
pulled together.
The dialogue is sexy and intelligent; and I frankly am a little in love with each one of the
fantastic alpha male heroes depicted in this series. The collective work is magnificent as are
the names of some of the heroes. Wow, I get a tiny thrill just reading some of their names:
Quest, Quaysar, Taurus, Smoak, Pike, Hilliam, and my personal favorite—Yohan.
Bravo! Ms. Washington your stories are fabulous and I will stay tuned and look forward to
more in the future.

I am an avid fan (like proper.. and have read all Altonya’s book’s to point) of Altonya’s and after just completed reading A Lovers Soul I am so impressed that I This
book is the culmination of the previous six books where each character mentioned in A Lovers Soul are already a part of one’s psyche, you know them all due to
the preceding novels. I am aware of each character’s personal journey told explicitly and in such a sensuous and deep manner they are truly moving, and one
ends up feeling as if they are old friends... well some of them...
A Lovers Soul tore me apart in that Quest and Michaela recognise that love can be all and even through times test faith... well you’ll have to read A Lovers Soul
yourself and you will not be disappointed, just to see how it all pans out.
I live in South East London, England and I had to order my book via the Altonya’s website which was a true delight. It took ages to come as there was a postal
strike and let me tell you when I got my book, I was so happy knowing that I would soon be reading a film because for me this is what Altonya does, she describes
content in such a way one can actually see it.
To have the females described in most of Altonya’s books as dark skin is such a tremendous pleasure because although I do not discriminate it can be so
tiresome, upsetting, worrying to ALWAYS read that those heroines in black novels are more often than not has ‘skin of caramel’ or fair honey toned’. So for me
who is a dark skinned Nubian sista, who has seen her skin go blackblue in the sun is forever grateful to you Altonya for recognising such an invisibility of us dark
skinned sista’s you have portrayed us dark skinned sista’s as women who can be loved right up and off the hook.. and loved in such a way it can make your heat
melt. whose beauty is not just skin deep, but deep deep, soul deep, and I celebrate this each and every time I read one of your novels.
It took me one night admittedly through most of the night to read ‘A Lovers Soul’, I decided to blank my telephone calls, grab a bottle of merlot, cigarettes at the
ready and off I went. I was instantly transported back into the familiar world of The Ramseys. Man the elder women in this book ain’t joking.... who would have
thought it!!!! Marcus Ramsey... how glad was I that he got his comeuppance, I had to re-read the whole book again (not hard to do.. trust me) and this is how I
understood just how Marcus ended up where he has and how... Tragically beautiful, such a fitting and apt end which will lead to another beginning in the next
instalment.... Oh I can’t wait. All you fans of Altonya’s around the world... please read ‘A Lovers Soul’ it is absolutely brilliant and Altonya takes you on such a
believable journey it is a book which definitely leaves an imprint. It makes me wonder if men really think in such passionate ways without ever letting their mask
slip... I could go on and one and on.... If you want to get the true essence of this book I would strongly recommend reading the proceeding six novels so that you
can get a scale of the whole Ramsey saga interwoven with money, greed, corruption, strong family values, deep long lasting love, love lost and love found.
Enjoy the ride

“A Ramsey Wedding”
the wait.
What with the Ramsey men being their typical selves and the Ramsey women being their typical
selves this was one of the best reads - It was fun – with all the Ramsey’s under one roof – it was
bound to be an interesting week. Throw in one of the best bachelorette parties I have EVER
heard of – well you can well imagine the romance to go along with wedding.
Throw in the unexpected – like County’s family (the Dad she hadn’t seen in years and the cousins
she heartily dislikes…and the intrigue and mystery of what the Tesanos are up to – you have a
story the covers just about anything and everything you could possibly want.
This story also sets the stage for the Elders book and the Cousins. I am now more than eager to
read the next book in the Ramsey saga.
I would highly recommend this book to Ramsey lovers everywhere…and if you haven’t read about
the Ramsey’s this one will make you want to pick up the series and start right away…
